Recently, I have had a few comments about my husband's and my son's names. Yes, they are both named Miguel and no, we don't call the baby Miguel, Jr or Junior. His nickname is Miguelito, and my husband and I both call him either Miguel or Miguelito. Do people get confused? Yes. Do I care? Not really.
The back story is my husband and I had a difficult time with names. Husband will say it is all my fault because I backed out of previously agreed upon names once pregnant. I blame it on the pregnancy hormones and a girl reserves the right to change her mind. Heck, I pushed for 2 1/2 hours to birth our son so I think by default my preference should have more weight than husband's.
